The Challenge:
Traditional print news brands face declining visual relevance in digital-first media environments. The fictional Daily Bugle identity needed a modern overhaul that preserved its iconic pop-culture heritage while adapting to digital mastheads, mobile viewports, and corporate collateral.
Strategic Objective:
Modernize the Daily Bugle brand architecture using a sleek, minimalist design framework and a costume-inspired color palette that subtly honors its narrative roots without sacrificing professional publication design standards.
My Role:
Brand Identity Design, Business Card Suite, and Visual Strategy.
Master Logo:
Replaced heavy serif slab typography with a clean, high-contrast sans-serif layout. Positioned "THE" vertically within the left margin to anchor the mark and improve horizontal scalability across digital banner slots.
Color System:
Derived the core visual identity from iconic comic lore—translating Spider-Man’s primary color profile into high-contrast corporate stationery.
